MACDIARMID’S BROWNSBANK RESTORATION FUND
The poet Hugh MacDiarmid's home Brownsbank Cottage is preserved exactly as when he lived in it from 1952 to 1978. The cottage and its contents are now in urgent need of refurbishment and conservation. Our charity MacDiarmid's Brownsbank which owns the cottage are therefore appealing for donations, however large or small, to help us restore and conserve this highly important site of Scottish cultural heritage.
